HOOVER, Ala. (WIAT) — The city of Hoover is pumping major money in to the Hoover Met.
The goal is to make it much more than just a baseball stadium.
Plans from the city include spending more than $1.5 million on repairs and upgrades at the facility.
One of the most notable upgrades is a $70,000 electrical system upgrade for high-powered concerts.
City leaders hope to be able to bring in acts like the ones that perform at the Oak Mountain Amphitheater.
