Regions Tradition Pro Am gets soaked but isn’t a complete wash

Birmingham, AL (WIAT)-The Regions Tradition Pro Am had it’s highlights despite the rain.

More than half the field was able to get out on the golf course on Wednesday before the event was called due to thunderstorms around 3 p.m.

Gus Malzahn, Steve Spurrier, Bo Jackson, and Jerod Haase all hit the course early showed off their golf swing.

Nick Saban and Dan Mullen both had afternoon tee times and never saw the course.

The weather sent people home early but today’s record attendance is an indicator this year’s Regions Tradition is on track to having a record weekend.
