Two illegal gaming operations busted on Friday

(WIAT) — Two illegal gaming operations have been busted.

On Friday afternoon, Birmingham Police raided Bingo, Bingo on Lakeshore Parkway.

The raid was the result of an undercover investigation.

62 touch screen computers were seized.

Investigators say they are worth $86,000.

So far, no one has been arrested.

Also, police raided a home in Pleasant Grove on Friday morning.

20 illegal gaming machines were found in the basement, and several more were found under the carport.

Police say two customers were playing the machines downstairs at the time of the bust.

The man allegedly running the business was taken into custody.
