BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Birmingham police are asking the public to pick up the phone and be the eyes and ears in the neighborhood.

This week they are looking for Jessie Jammon Lee. He is wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Lee is accused of stealing from a high-end department store in Birmingham.

Anyone who may have seen Lee is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (205) 254-7777.

Additionally, community members who partner with police are being recognized on Tuesday evening at the Citizen’s Police Academy.

They’ve completed a nine-week program.
