BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — CBS42 has been documenting the progress of a monument being built to honor the lives of the victims of the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing.
Sculptor Elizabeth MacQueen has given CBS42 access to her work as she continues working from Berkeley, California.
The award-winning design for the Four Spirits Incorporated is really taking shape.
Once the sculpture is complete, it will sit at the entrance of Kelly Ingram Park in full view of the 16th Street Baptist Church.
