(WIAT) — Celebrity chef Todd English, who is in town for the grand opening of his first restaurant in Alabama, is happy with the progress of Birmingham’s entertainment district.
The Todd English Pub opened in February along with the Westin Hotel in what is known as Uptown.
World-renowned celebrity chef Todd English came in the Public Urban Bar on Wednesday night.
The James Beard Award winner is excited about his new concept restaurant in the Magic City.
He says it fits right in.
He also gives a big shout out to his friend Frank Stitt.
On Thursday, the public will have a chance to meet English for the grand opening celebration.
