(WIAT) — Alabama-based Hickory Hollow Jerky Company is recalling 1,800 pounds of beef jerky.
The products contain Worcestershire sauce and anchovy paste, but doesn’t list them on the label. The problem arose because fish is a known allergen.
The FDA says the recalled jerkies are as follows: 3-oz. Original Recipe “HICKORY HOLLOW BEEF JERKY” bearing the establishment number “EST. 34550” inside the USDA mark of inspection on the label, 3-oz. Sweet Heat BBQ “HICKORY HOLLOW BEEF JERKY” bearing the establishment number “EST. 34550” inside the USDA mark of inspection on the label, 3-oz. Hot Shot “HICKORY HOLLOW BEEF JERKY” bearing the establishment number “EST. 34550″inside the USDA mark of inspection on the label.
The jerkies were made between December 4, 2012 and June 4, 2013.
Additionally, the 2013 Dodge Dart is being recalled.
The problem is an engine that has a propensity to stall.
Affected vehicles have a 1.4 liter MultiAir turbo engine and dual dry clutch transmission.
Chrysler plans to notify owners of the affected vehicles and take care of the problem for free.
