TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT)– Do you have questions or concerns about your power rates? The Public Service Commission wants to hear from you. There’s a public hearing this week in Tuscaloosa. Critics have complained power and gas rates are too high in Alabama compared to other parts of the country, and the process to review rates has not included public input. It’s expected earlier hearings on Mobile gas will result in a drop in rates. The next public meeting on Alabama Power is set for this Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. It’s in the Moot Court Room at the University of Alabama School of Law.
