Chat With The Chief: Police need help locating two suspects

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Birmingham police say the public’s tips are crucial as they try to find two suspects.

Chief A.C. Roper says they are searching for Anderson Lee, who is accused of posing as a family member and then stealing from a high end department store.

Police are also looking for Bryant Cope, also known as Larry Darnell.

Cope is wanted for first degree kidnapping and two counts of domestic violence strangulation.

Chief Roper says Cope may be in the Collegeville or Loveman’s Village area of Birmingham.

Anyone with information on the two individual is asked to call the Birmingham Police Department at (205) 254-1700 or Crime Stoppers at (205) 254-7777.

Tips can remain anonymous.
