(WIAT) — A recall has been issued for a product that previously had been seen as a helpful product for mothers.
Baby Matters, which made the now-recalled Nap Nanny and Nap Nanny Chill, is no longer in business.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued the recall for the popular infant recliner on June 14, 2013.
There are more than 90 reports of babies hanging or falling over the side of the seat.
Five babies have died.
Because the manufacturer is no longer in business, the CPSC urges anyone with the Nap Nanny or Nap Nanny Chill to stop using it immediately.
