TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — The Alabama Crimson Tide has been making some major waves on social media outlets.

It all started after a tweet from Alabama verbal commitment David Cornwell went viral.

Cornwell, a highly touted quarterback prospect, tweeted that Alabama is installing a waterfall in the team’s renovated locker room.

CBS42 spoke with University of Alabama officials who say the rumors are true.

However, it’s not quite as fancy as it sounds.

The water will fall a couple of feet over a ledge into the team’s hot and cold tubs.

Team officials say it will have a spa-like environment.

Construction on the renovations, which also include a new team lounge and meeting room, are scheduled to be completed by the time Alabama opens camp in August.
