HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WIAT) — A man who tweeted a threat to President Barack Obama in Marc has been sentenced to a year in prison.
Jarvis M. Britton was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Lynwood Smith on Thursday in Huntsville.
After his term, Britton is required to spend three years on probation.
Britton, a 26-year-old from Birmingham, plead guilty to sending the tweet that threatened President Obama’s life.
