CULLMAN, Ala. (WIAT) — This Friday and Saturday “Rock the South” comes to Cullman, Alabama.

The country music festival line-up will feature famous artists such as Sara Evans, The Band Perry, 2011 American Idol Winner Scotty McCreery and several country legends.

Willie Robertson, who rose to fame as the star of A&E’s hit show “Duck Dynasty”, is also slated to make a guest appearance at the festival.

The festival will also feature barbecue from many barbecue restaurants from across the state.

Premiere Production had workers out early on Wednesday morning building the stage and fencing off Heritage Park for the venue, which could bring out as many as 15,000 people.

The doors open at 3 p.m. on Friday and 12 p.m. on Saturday.

General admission tickets are still available, priced at $30 for a one-day pass and $49 for both days.
