BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — It took a judge issuing a contempt of court order for Paula Deen to turn over a Food Network blooper reel.
The attorney for the woman suing Deen and her brother requested the reel in May.
When she failed to hand it over, they held Deen in contempt.
The reel, which reportedly contains outtakes from Deen’s program, was eventually surrendered.
It reportedly included foul language and showed Deen making sexually explicit comments.
Deen was set to sit down and talk about the lawsuit Friday morning on the Today Show.
According to the show, Deen never showed up.
Anchors on the show teased her appearance throughout the show, but as the show wound down they were forced to admit that Deen was not going to be showing up.
Deen’s representatives have not yet responded to her failure to appear.
