The first red pandas born in the United States were welcomed into the world at the Birmingham Zoo on May 30.

The mother of the pandas is rather protective, though.

Red pandas tend to stay close to their mothers until they’re around three months old.

They should be available to be viewed at the zoo sometime in the fall.
