(WIAT) — AAA expects more than 40 million people to travel somewhere for the July 4th holiday.
That’s a lower figure than last year, but that could be because the holiday falls on Thursday this year.
The company says 84 percent of people traveling during the holiday weekend will hit the road, traveling 50 miles or more from home.
3 million people will hop on a plane to get where they’re going.
The busiest travel days will be July 3-July 7.
