(WIAT) — In March, a zoning officer ruled that the Archibald and Woodrow’s barbecue restaurant was operating illegally as a nightclub out of the zoning ordinance.
On Monday, Archibald’s Attorneys took up the issue with the zoning board of adjustment.
The night ended with zoning officials voted 3-2 in favor of Archibald and Woodrow’s after hours operation.
Unfortunately for them though a vote of 4-1 is needed to make a zoning change.
That means, they can’t be open after hours. But Archibald and Woodrow’s aren’t backing away after the news on Monday.
The restaurant’s attorneys are filing an appeal keeping this barbecue battle from being far from over.
