(WIAT) — Each year, the National Resources Defense Council tests and ranks water at beaches around the nation.
New research by the council revealed that Alabama’s Gulf Coast is in good condition.
The council conducts its research by taking into account water quality and health violations.
The public beaches in Gulf Shores and Gulf State Park Pavilion both received five-star ratings.
