Auburn’s Price leaving for La Salle

AUBURN, Ala.  (WIAT) — Jordan Price is leaving the Plains after his freshman season and heading to La Salle.

The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 5.4 points per game and is a strong backcourt player that will hopefully be another transfer addition to help the Explorers return to the NCAA Tournament again next year.

La Salle is becoming known for comprising their team of transfers from other colleges.

The Explorers’ Ramon Galloway, who transferred from South Carolina, and Tyrone Garland, who transferred from Virginia Tech, both played an integral part in the success of the 2012 team that made it to Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA Tournament.

With the success of these two, La Salle is now looking again to the transfer market.

Price is the second transfer for La Salle this offseason; Georgia Southern guard Cleon Roberts joined the Explorers in May.
