BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The Birmingham Police Department, Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service and Mayor William Bell’s office are partnering with an event to help hydrate the homeless and elderly.

The event needs help from the public, though.

Anyone who wishes to help can bring packages of bottled waters to Boutwell Auditorium from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

That water will then be given to the elderly and homeless people throughout Birmingham.
