(WIAT) — For the first time ever, fireworks will not be allowed in Northport on July 4th.
In fact, they won’t be allowed on any other day for that matter.
A fireworks ban went into effect in January.
The ban means that fireworks cannot be sold or used within Northport city limits.
Fireworks are still legal, though, in some parts of the Northport Police jurisdiction, as well as in some parts of Tuscaloosa County.
