TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — Tuscaloosa students are going back in time to have a little fun during extended summer learning.

Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School’s Jumpstart Program has taken the students in and is providing them with a fun, learning environment.

The program has a fine arts component.

On Tuesday, students got a chance to dance to 1950s style sok hop.

They also learned the history of the 1950s.
