Two arrested on drug trafficking charges in Birmingham

(WIAT) — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two men charged with drug trafficking in Birmingham.

Nineteen-year-old Jaylon Butler was arrested in Ensley, and 46-year-old Herman Lamb was arrested in North Birmingham.

Deputies seized $12,000 worth of marijuana and heroin from the Ensley location, along with three handguns.

In North Birmingham, deputies found marijuana, cocaine and oxycontin with a street value of $24,480. Authorities also seized a handgun and cash.

Butler remains in the Jefferson County Jail on bonds totaling $500,000.

Lamb posted $75,000 and was released.
