BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – A lucky charity donor may not have the “moves like Jagger”, but whoever it is now has Jagger’s hair.

A lock of hair belong to Mick Jagger, the Rolling Stone’s lead singer, has been auctioned off for about $6,000 – double the price it was expected to go for.

The lock of hair was sold by a former girlfriend of the rock star who has held onto the hair since before he became a star.

The hair has been kept in an envelope for many years with the message, “Mick Jagger’s hair after being washed and trimmed by Chris at Rose Hill Farm.”

The proceeds of the auction will benefit the Changing Faces charity.
