TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — With everything from swimming to arts and crafts, summer camps in the United States can be a lot of fun.
So, it makes sense that a group of foreign exchange students would want to give it a try.
Twenty-three children from China’s Hunan Province are in Tuscaloosa for the next two weeks.
They’re participating in a cultural exchange camp with the Tuscaloosa Parks and Recreation Authority.
The students are all staying with different host families while they are in town.
