JASPER, Ala. (WIAT) — UPDATE: According to Jasper Police Department’s David Mize, U.S. Marshals have taken Brandon Peake into custody in Tennessee.

ORIGINAL: Jasper Police have issued a warrant for a Walker County man who is suspected of making bomb threats.

Police have charged Brandon Joseph Peake with robbery and making terrorist threats.

Investigators say Peake called in a bomb threat to Walker Baptist Medical Center Friday morning.

Peake reportedly claimed there were bombs at the hospital and at one of the bridges on Highway 69.

Police say the threats were a diversion to a bank robbery that happened Friday afternoon in Curry.

Police are also looking for Tamara Starr Files as a person of interest.
