BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — AAA-Alabama is planning to hold a safe driving course for Birmingham area drivers ages 55 and older.
The goal of the course is to sharpen the driver’s safety skills and provide a way for them to save money on car insurance.
Additionally, AAA says the course is a great opportunity for older drivers to “refresh their driving knowledge and learn some terrific defensive driving techniques.”
The class will be held Thursday, July 18th from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the AAA State Headquarters building at 2400 Acton Road.
Admission to the course is $25 for AAA members and $30 for non-members.
Registration ends July 17th.
Those who wish to register can call Clay Ingram at (205) 444-8885 or visit www.AAA.com.
