Woman charged in connection with bank robbery

WALKER COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — Tamra Files is now charged as a suspect in a bank robbery in Walker County.

She is accused of robbing the Traders and Farmer’s Bank in Curry on July 5th, 2013.

Her alleged accomplice, Brandon Peake, is also charged with robbing the bank as well as making terrorist threats. Peake is believed to have called in a bomb threat to Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper.

The tobbery of the bank took place a few hours later.

Files and Peake are being held in Chattanooga until authorities can bring them back to Walker County.
