BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The four suspects in the murders of 17-year-olds Jonathan and Jeremi Berry appeared in court on Monday.
Stanley Chatman is facing two capital murder charges.
Crystal Nelson, 21, DaJuan Tuggle, 23, and Quentin Nixon, 25, are also charged.
According to police, the four broke in the Berry home and killed the two boys.
Although they are happy for the wheels of justice to begin turning, it was a very tough day for the Berry family.
The mother of the twins was in court during the hearing on Monday.
She was paralyzed during the attack after being shot while the suspects were fleeing.
