Birmingham, AL (WIAT)-Garrick McGee has been busy locking up the future of his UAB football program.

Last weekend, an offer was made to Aaron Duckworth at a prospect camp.

On Tuesday, the Oakleaf High School (Orange Park, FL) running back made his commitment to UAB.

Later Dora athlete DeMarcus Kirk verbally committed to UAB.

Kirk is a 6-foot, 190-pound athlete who will likely play running back for the Blazers.

To add to the list of commitments, Garrick McGee wants some security for the distant future as well.

Millbrook native Kelvin Stokes, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound defensive lineman for Stanhope Elmore Junior High, picked up a scholarship offer from UAB this week, making him one of the youngest players in the country with a Division I scholarship offer.

Stokes will join the Class of 2018.
