HOOVER, Ala. (WIAT) — The decision to end regular school bus service in Hoover next year has been a very hot topic in recent days.
Now, the school board is planning to discuss it further at its regular meeting next month.
The board plans to present some transportation-related options for parents at its next meeting.
However, this does not mean the board is reversing its decision to do away with regular bus service.
Parents are encouraged to attend the meeting, which will be held on August 12, 2013, to hear the proposals and give feedback.
Hoover parents are also encouraged to attend a meeting regarding bus service on Thursday.
The meeting will be held at Artists on the Bluff, which is the old Bluff Park Community School located on Park Avenue in Hoover.
