PINSON, Ala. (WIAT)– When you think of the major leagues, you tend to think of baseball stars, but masters of a different art took to the field to have a showdown of their own. We’re talking about Drum Corp International. Several DCI corps were in Pinson Thursday. We caught up with the Carolina Crown practicing for the upcoming show in Tennessee. Musician Larkin Sharp says each practice is all about preparing for the ultimate goal– playing in the music “World Championship.” The group is headed to Murfreesboro, Tennessee for their next performance.
