BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Researchers in New York say being tall may heighten the chance of developing cancer.
Doctors who participated in the research project studied postmenopausal women.
Their research found tall women are at a higher risk for breast, colon and kidney cancer.
Scientists say hormones that influence height may also fuel the creation of cancer cells later in life.
