BERLIN, Germany (WIAT) — Workers who eat lunch at their desk may be more productive in the afternoon, according to new research.
German researchers tested people who went out to lunch with a friend and those who ate at work.
The research was conducted by researchers at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany, and was published in the journal PLOS ONE.
People who went out to eat returned to work calmer, but they were also less alert and scored lower on cognitive tests.
