TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — The Alabama football team, ranked #1 in the preseason, hit the practice field for the first time this season Friday.
No one doubts there’s a lot of hype around the Crimson Tide team. Head coach Nick Saban, in true candid form, addressed concerns he had about the so-called “hype.”
“You know we appreciate the recognition. We understand the reason we have these things.. To enhance the entertainment business so you guys have something to talk about and write about.. But the fact of the matter is, every team is doing exactly what we’re doing right now. And everybody can get good results or bad results based on what they do,” said Saban.
Tide Fan day is Sunday. For all the information, click here.
