NAZARETH, Israel — Congratulations are in order for Samford professor James Strange. He’s leading an archeological dig in Israel. His team has uncovered an ancient Jewish village. So far, they’ve uncovered an ancient synagogue, houses, and evidence of pottery production in an old Jewish village. The site is about 5 miles northwest of Nazareth.
