BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — A federal grant will help provide new roadways for Birmingham residents.
A groundbreaking was held Monday for the Jones Valley portion of the Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery grant, otherwise known as the TIGER discretionary grant.
The U.S. Department of Transportation is providing the funding for the project.
