2-year-old still recovering after shooting at Tuscaloosa apartment complex

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — The 2-year-old boy who was shot at the Forrester Gardens Apartments in Tuscaloosa last week has been released from the hospital.

Dominique Jones says her son, Broddrick, is back home and is doing much better.

He was shot in the groin at the apartment complex on Thursday, August 1, 2013.

Javorris Conner, 33, is accused of shooting Broddrick.

Conner is charged with assault and firing into an occupied building.
