COLUMBIANA, Ala. (WIAT) – The former pastor of Columbiana Church of Christ, Paul Martin, will head to court on Wednesday.

Martin was arrested in Birmingham in July after police say they found a syringe containing heroin in his car.

News of his arrest shocked the congregation, forcing them to relieve Martin of his duties as pastor of the church.

Martin remains free on bond.
