IRONDALE, Ala. (WIAT) — The Irondale community has struggled with a railroad crossing in their neighborhood lately.
The electrical system seemed to have issues. However, those issues should soon be fixed.
Crews were out on the scene Wednesday morning working hard on the faulty electrical system.
People living near the crossing on Commerce Boulevard said the lights would come on for days and flash when no trains were coming.
OmniTRAX said the company had isolated the problem and would fix the crossing lights.
The work on the crossing is supposed to be completed in a few days.
Beatrice Bode contributed to this report.
