BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – When doing your back-to-school shopping did you check the labels? Did you buy American? Chances are you didn’t.
And the Alliance for American Manufacturing is hoping to change that.
“The Keep it Made in America” tour stopped in the Magic City on Thursday.
Speakers addressed the group of mostly men and women who work in american industry.
Their message is to remind consumers to buy american whenever they can.
President Scott Paul says “Look if you try to go 100% pure and just buy all American made products, you are going to drive yourself crazy. The key is just do a little more. And if everybody just does a little more that will in fact create hundreds of thousands of jobs.”
