Alabama opens up the week with another two-a-day practice

TUSCALOOSA, Ala.(WIAT) –– The Alabama Crimson Tide got back to the practice field after their first scrimmage Monday. The topic of discussion after practice was the update on AJ McCarron’s bruised foot which he answered by saying “It’s good”. Also another injury that happened in practice was a bruised hand from H-back Jalston Fowler which he said was no big deal and will be fine. Below is the press release from the University of Alabama on Monday’s practice report:

The Alabama football team participated in its third two-a-day of fall camp on Monday. The Crimson Tide met for approximately two hours in the morning in full pads at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields and will return for its evening session.

On the heels of the first scrimmage of the fall and the first off day of training camp the Tide went through their second to last two-a-day. Alabama will conclude its grueling two-a-days on Wednesday and have one practice on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, before the second scrimmage of camp.
