COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIAT) — South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier is having to push some of his star athletes to keep working hard.
Stars Jadeveon Clowney and Bruce Ellington have been limited in practice with some nagging injuries which brought a certain response from the Ol’ Ball Coach Monday night.
“We got a bunch of hurt guys that act like they are really hurt. So right now they may not play. (how does that impact you offensively?) Well we got plenty of receivers out here. They’re running around out here trying, so we’ll put them in there if the other two can’t play.”
Clowney did work Tuesday morning at practice.
