TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — The West Alabama State Fair, which runs through Sunday, is helping raise money to pay for Jason McNeil’s medical bills.

McNeil was injured in Buffalo, New York, while leaving a Kid Rock concert.

The well-known businessman from Tuscaloosa is on the board of United Cerebral Palsy of West Alabama, who is sponsoring the fair.

Parking for the fair is free, but the Men of St. Joseph will be taking donations for McNeil’s family.

The fair opened at Sokol Park Tuesday afternoon.
