BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The UAB Blazers will try to avenge the first loss of the Garrick Mcgee era in Troy Saturday, but to do so, they’ll face another two-headed quarterback monster.
The Blazers bring a pair with experience, but the Trojans actually play both Corey Robinson and Deion Anthony inter-changeably. Anthony brings a lot of speed to the table and the 6th year senior, Robinson, doesn’t mind taking a backseat to him.
“You know which in my case I tried to work on it, but I’m still not as fast as Dion,” said Robinson. “But, just having a guy like that does take the pressure off you know. When you can run like he can, it really helps an offense out and we’re excited to have him back.”
The Trojans averaged almost 15 yards a catch against UAB last year.
