Auburn prepares for a week 2 against Arkansas State

Auburn, AL (WIAT)-Auburn turns the page on a new season with a win against Washington State in week 1.  Now comes the Tigers’ second test when Gus Malzahn faces Arkansas State, the same team he led to a conference championship a year ago.

The Tigers went back to work this week to clean up the mistakes that can be costly when the SEC schedule rolls out.
Corey Grant led the ground attack rushing for nearly 150 yards against Washington State but likes the threat that the running back trio presents alongside Tre Mason and Cameron Artis-Payne.
The Red Wolves are considered the underdog in this match up but riding some momentum with a 9 game winning streak, currently the second longest in the country.  Auburn on the other hand hopes to retain the momentum fueled by the feeling of being back in the win column.
Auburn and Arkansas State kick off at Jordan-Hare Stadium Saturay at 6:30p.m.
