BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) – A shocking obituary in the Reno Gazette-Journal about Marianne Theresa Johnson-Reddick who died and is survived by her children has the whole town talking.
The obituary says the woman spent her life torturing her children in every way possible, including abuse, neglect, and violence and criminal activity.
It goes on to say the surviving children are glad she’s dead and that the family is celebrating her passing and hopes she finds no peaceful rest.
But there is one obvious mistake in this obit, It has Marianne’s death listed as September 30th, 2013.
Later the date of her death was confirmed to be August 30th.
The newspaper has since taken down the online submission of the obit.
