ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — Six people were formally charged in connection with the August 17, 2013, murders of Jabari Sultan Player, 35, of Gadsden, and Billy Baker, 53, of Gadsden.
The murders occurred on the Meighan Boulevard Bridge.
Etowah County District Attorney Jimmie Harp, Gadsden Police Chief John Crane and Etowah County Sherriff Todd Entrekin made the announcement today.
