(WIAT) –   Worship and fellowship often happen outside of the sanctuary. And sometimes those efforts bring several congregations together.
Such was the case in Calera Sunday where neighbors will soon have a new community center.
The grand opening of the community center has been in the works for over a year.
The 16th Street Baptist Church partnered with other churches in Calera to create an outreach to the community.
The center will offer classes in computer skills, carpentry and English as second language.
And if your kids just need some help with their math homework well they do that too.
Everything at the center is free and the goal is simply to spread love into the community.
