Suspect in bomb threat and bank robbery taken back to Walker County

WALKER COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) – The Walker County man suspected of calling in a bomb threat at Walker Baptist Medical Center and later robbing a bank is back in Alabama.

Brandon Peake was returned to the Walker County Jail Tuesday. He was arrested in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on July 11.

Peake is accused of calling in a bomb threat to Walker Baptist Medical Center and then robbing the Traders & Farmers Bank in Curry, Alabama.

The other suspect in the case, Tamra Files, is expected to be brought back to Alabama next week.

Both were initially charged with first-degree robbery and two counts of making a terroristic threat.
